There's a rumor that the latest Microsoft Xbox 360 full update could contain a parenting tool called Family Timer that will enable your folks to make sure that they have their way.

The Xbox.com Forums reports that a pamphlet is going around and spreading the word about the Parental Timer or Family Timer. Since full updates usually hit around December or January, this buzz may actually be on to something.

If this is true, sleepless nights of Halo 3 may soon be a thing of the past for the younger crowd. We'll keep you updated on how this delicate cookie crumbles as soon as new word is in.

I read about this a month or so back and I was like . Then I laughed at my co-worker as his wife says he plays way too much games as it is. LMAO, I wonder if she would do this to him if it comes out?

But if parents are so concerned about how much time their children are spending playing videogames, one has to wonder why they agreed to purchase a console to begin with?
