Prince of Persia Classic on XBLA this June 13

Fans of Prince of Persia rejoice! We say a piece of history because quite honestly, who can ever forget the original John Mechner game when it first came out in 1989 on the Apple II? Eventually, the title found its way to the PC and to other platforms.

Unlike most platformers, this game doesn't start with you having means to defend yourself. You will essentially run away from the guys with swords until you get a weapon, and then you can finally take them on with impunity. Of course, you'll also have to contend with the countless pits, traps, falling ceilings, not to mention pressure sensitive plates.

One thing we'll keep an eye on is how well Prince of Persia Classic will stand up to other games considering it was given an update by [Only registered users can see links. ]. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on Prince of Persia Classic.
