CES 2009: Halo Wars release date now February 28, demo coming

Here's a quick update from CES 2009, straight from Major Nelson. Halo Wars' release date is now February 28, with a demo coming this February 5.

Previous reports slated the game for a release on March 3rd for North America, so this comes as a pleasant surprise. I just hope there wasn't some miscommunication somewhere.

The game marks the final release from Ensemble Studios, who gave us the Age of Empires franchise. I hope this game does well, if only for that reason alone. I'm not an RTS fan, but it was a great franchise nonetheless.

All I hope for is that there won't be that much hype...

Oh yeah, and how about the return of GameFuel?

Sorry but the official website has not madea any changes to the america release date. Also Paragon (an ensemble worker there) denied this.

oh wait sorry. Just got a PM from Paragon that says its true but the sites not going to be updated.
