Miranda recently wrote an interesting article on the new Halo 3 "True Skill" ranking system.[indent]I then played lone wolves and saw that people who were lower ranks than me now had higher ranks. I wondered to myself wtf this was. I looked at Bungie.net?they told me it was this new ?True Skill? Soooo I thought to myself?.?So now everyone is on an even playing field??so this entire year of Halo I have been playing, dreamin... [Only registered users can see links. ]

This annoyed me as well. I was a 30 in LW and recently ranked up to 32 but i cant get any farther!!! OMGWTFBBQ?? So now i have to get my 35 in team doubles which is going well as boosters usually just quit the game and its me vs two other people, which i find easier to deal with. Unless its squad battle, team mates slow you down.

Lol, I'm wondering if I've played against you now . I play doubles, and often play against someone who's level 25-40 . Scary when I'm only 14 lol. And so crap I've gone down to 12 - Ok 14 didnt' last long but I stayed on 13 all the time till "True Skill", I'll probably be 11 next .

I'm glad I'm not the only one this is seriously retarded. I agree that this is a good idea in theory, BUT they should have released this MUCH earlier. People haven't gotten a chance to get any better, now it is like we are being punished for not being as good, we are going down every match because the people around us are just simply better!

This is one of the reasons I stopped playing halo 3, that and I got new games but I feel like I worked for nothing. Not that I got that far but it's just not the same for me.

The true skill systems not that bad if you think about it. It means you can easily find the playlist your best at. (Off topic - 2 invincibles today!)

True Skill isn't really true, more like bull true to me , it really doesn't associate to how the ranking is.
