For those of you who will be picking up the Limited Edition of Gears of War 2 you’ll be happy to read the following news. If you haven’t decided which edition to buy, this may sway you.
If you purchase the limited edition of Gears of War 2 you will get an exclusive gold-plated Lancer Assault Rifle available during online play.
Here are the full details on what you’ll get in the limited edition version
Gears of War 2: Limited Edition
  • Collectible SteelBook™ DVD case
  • “Beneath the Surface: An Inside Look at Gears of War 2,” a 48-page hardbound book including character profiles, exclusive concept art, and foreword by Design Director Cliff Bleszinski
  • Bonus DVD including exclusive making-of-the-game video footage, design galleries with audio commentary by Epic Games, and promotional videos including the E3 2008 trailer, “Rendezvous.”

What is a Lancer exactly, a gun? Ive never played Gears1 but Gears 2 seems good so far.

Do you have the game Dizzy? Do you have RROD? I forget

I want that gold lancer badly. I saw a couple of players with them yesterday and I want one! The lancer is the ultimate gun, the best gun in any game Ive played. They should import it to the Call of Duty series or Halo 3 just for fun
