hi all im new to this but is a chip needed to play copy games on xbox360 as u dont have to on the psp thanks

I dont have a 360 so Im not 100% but, from what others have said.........

DONT CHIP YOUR 360!!!

It is possible and yes you need one to play copies of games BUT the chips arent stable at all and you're running the risk of damaging your 360.

There'll be a firmware mod/hack at some point Im sure, without ruining a console by chipping (until theres a stable chip anyway)

No idea if firmware mods/hacks can damage the console but, in the way they can damage a PSP, Id expect they could.

Take a good look at info on the mod/hack before u install anything, thats the only advice I can give

I wouldn't recommend using it.
I think it's safe to say that if you used it;
your xbox would be...screwed.

YEAH, i know may people that had the CHIP on the 360.... its for now safe... but you have to take your console to SOMEONE that knows what is doing, so i dont recommend it, since i love ORIGINAL games, but as you wish.

360's dont' use chips you flash the dvd drive with a hacked firmware which is fairly easy to do just take your 360 apart and hook up the dvd drive to your computer run a program (depending on what brand of dvd drive you have) and then you can play backups of your games

ok well im new here and i was wondering,
If i took the DvD/CD RW out of a 2007 model of Toshiba, Sony or Panasonic PC or Laptop and swiched it with the DvD drive on my 360 would it play copied games then?
