A settlement has been reached where the St. Louis Mod Shop owner agreed to never sell copies of Gears 2 or any modded Xbox hardware, turn over all modding hardware, pay an undisclosed amount in fees, help Epic identify other copyright violoators and issue a public apology. For shame! Remember kids, pirating games doesn't pay. Ninjaing games just makes more sense.

Wouldn't dream of modding my 360, i'll just wait for the games to come out and pay full or 2nd hand price. Not worth the risk, wouldnt want to put it on the net just in case. now PSP's are a completetly different things , they dont have achievements to show off to the whole world.

I am probably getting my 360 re-modded this weekend. Acheivments are there whether you mod or not and no one knows you've modded unless you tell them or MS sends out a signal

If the 360 couldnt be modded then Microsoft could well be polishing Sony's boots right now. I doubt there would be as many console sales of the 360 without the added incentive of hackability . Perhaps Sony should stop being so childish and let the world hack the PS3, then it might actually compete with the 360 in hardware sales .

It does pay to pirate - ask Microsoft, ask Sony, they may not be truthful but, the PSP and the 360 are soooooo easy to hack/flash, time to ask why that is no?

I have to agree with you here Queen, really they do everything in their power to stop us but still make hackable products. Except for the PS3 (for now) I think though that they thought they had a cash cow with the console. Not so much. Also, I feel there are more games for the 360? I mean what do you have when you take away the blu-ray. It's also one of the main reason people are buying the ps3.

Yeah, I worked with someone who thought the 360 and wii were crap, as well as the DS and PSP.....LOVED the PS3, but he so wasn't a gamer, he wanted it for the blu-ray. And thought I was insane/stupid for selling mine.

He was the only Anti 360 person there.............worse thing is, it was Game I was working in . Scary lol.

I Like my PS3 and i Liked my 360 but at the end the PS3 had to stay.I couldn't play my 360 at night with out waking up my parents, that thing was loud. My sister though i was vacuuming my room when i was playing my 360.

360 has lots of games and Sony has to stop being a little baby about hacks and start making games word buying.

pirating can pay. that is consider underground advertisement on a page like one that many people dont go to. posting something like that on craigs list is just plain stupid.

I couldn't agree more. I mean word of mouth is how you get the business. I also have to agree that pirating does pay. Where companies lose in one area they clean up in another

i always thought, it wasnt a good idea to go live with a modded 360. if thats not the case i might just have to do it.
