Well kids, after nearly two months on top of in the middle of the charts, the Xbox 360 has been corralled into its previously assigned sales slot, also known as [Only registered users can see links. ]. Through a miraculous confluence of events, most likely the release of [Only registered users can see links. ], the console had managed to outsell Sony's Playstation 3 on its home turf for weeks on end (once to the tune of [Only registered users can see links. ]). We should note, of course, that the Wii, PSP and DS -- and even the PS2 at one point -- consistently topped the 360 during the same period. Alas, those heady days are behind us, and things are back to normal. A little more than normal, as even the hardy Playstation 2 managed to outsell the 360 during the week of October 27 - November 2. Ahh well, that was always going to happen. But as everyone has already said, the 360 will continue to do well in other countries, especially when the price is so low. Great for parents looking to buy their kids a games console this Christmas without breaking the bank - credit crunch and recession etc etc.
