...IS FRIGGIN AWESOME GAME I AM ADDICTED.

Great graphics, immersive sound, intense story, good gameplay and fun combat really make this game what it is. The enemy AI is also intelligent, and the game would scare the shit out of a rock.

Opinions on it?

Yeah I have it too, pretty awesome. Although I saw the walkthrough at gamestop when I picked it up and it was less than 100 pages long....so I hope it isn't really short. It is pretty freaky, but I still think Silent Hill is scarier (depends on what freaks you out I guess ) Anyways, the game play is awesome and the graphics ARE amazing.

Yeah I got it last night. It's going to the bottom of my pile. Those things have blades coming out of their hands. But who didn't know when you first enter the ship that your peeps were gonna get sliced and diced? Still creepy to me.

When I first heard about this game it didn't seem really good to me, but now almost every gaming forum is posting about this game how good it is so I might try it out. Is there demo on the Live?

I'm going to wait for a friend to buy it and just borrow it from them. After Fable II and Sonic Unleashed I'll be broke. One of my friends was scared shitless yesterday while playing it. And from what I hear, Dead Space has great replay value.
