Really? Dead Space while it is creepy and fun to play I don't see it being that moving. It is in my top 10 for now.

Its not just the gameplay im talking about. The physics, tactical dismemberment all contributed to my choice. And the first 15 minutes scared the me ****less!

Same for force unleashed. While the gameplay was ither too easy or too hard, The physics of the force powers and the actuall story was immence.

The whole game scares me! Yeah I guess I just don't feel it being game of the year material yet. Let me play it through then we will see. Force Unleashed has an awesome storyline and my friend says it's just like everything else, I disagree.

Oh because of the ending of Fable 2 I retract my bid for it being considered (but that's just my inner child speaking)

Force Unleashed was awsome. but i think left 4 dead will take alot of game awards for this year

I saw an ad for Left 4 Dead and I want that game. My wife was watchin it and was like "what the hell was that!!!! " I said it's gotta be Left 4 Dead. Game of they year....we will see. I think Gears is gonna clean house.

Gears of War 2... so far at least, still have to go through the co op on every difficulty but after that i'll let you know if i still think it is the best. though i think its already won.

Awesome graphics, awesome campaign and co-op (and awesome split screen too ), as well as having a fantastic storyline. I don't normally do storylines in games and just want to get into the action, but I was watching each scene and was dragged into the story. I can't wait for Gears 3.
Gears 2 even made me go back and complete the first Gears - which I gave up on ages ago after doing 1 bit like 10 times and still not completing it, and completed it first time .

Only "grumble" I'd have with Gears 2, is I played Gears 1 on Casual, and Gears 2 on Normal (cuz they didnt have that option in Gears 1), yet the Berserker was much harder on Gears 1 than 2, even though the difficulty was set higher than casual on Gears 2.
I say "grumble", because it does have its positives too. I could stand next to the berseker in gears 2, sneaking past him, and all was fine (apart from being scared shitless he'd sense me) and got past him easy. But going back to gears 1, the same tactics didn't work, and I was much further away. If it had been like that on Gears 2 though, I don't think I could have gotten past the berserker, he stood in the doorway and couldnt get him to move from there .
