Are These the Top 5 XBox 360 Games……So Far?

Since its release, the XBox 360 has been turning heads and breaking barriers. It's large list of unique titles and great Live features has made the Xbox 360 a favorite among American gamers, and gamers worldwide alike. The games have been innovative and visually inspiring, as have some of the titles.

It's almost impossible to choose a top 5 list of games for the 360, there are just too many superb games but, how's about this list for starters?

I do agree with the list to a certain point. Those games are probably the most predictable to put in a top 5, but they are also the most wanted and have wowed fans with their awesome graphics and gameplay. There are alot of 'For' and 'Against' reasons for this top 5. I don't think my list would look anything like that! lmao. I tend to like the underdogs - the games that aren't really supposed to do well, but surprise everyone at being one of the best. But I do like Halo, GoW and GTA IV.


However, that list is probably, arguably, the way most people would see it. I don't really disagree, don't get me wrong, I just know my list would probably be different . tee hee. But taking everything into consideration, you're probs right!

I think, those 5 should be the top, but not necessarily in that order lol.

1: CoD4
2: Halo 3
3: Gears of War
4: GTA IV
5: Mass Effect (maybe, i didn't play it as it happens lol )

3 and 4 are interchangable really for me though. I've put em that way for now, because, Gears was out before GTA IV, and, GTA IV is on the PS3 as well lol. So Gears get an extra mark cuz its 360 games lol.

I have all of those games and I would have to agree they are in the top 5 but more games can be added to make it a top 10. Mass Effect was amazing, I was playing through a second time (just to be a complete jerk to everyone) also that alien/human make out scene was crazy!

They are without a doubt the top selling games on the 360.

Does anybody like Assassins Creed as much as me? I personally would have that pretty high up. I have the faceplate on my 360, I absolutely loved it...which is surprising. I usually don't like games that don't have guns in it! lol. Thought the graphics were superb and the story was interesting and different. Can't wait for the next one, but the developers have annoyed me by saying "we won't make a second one until we know it's in demand". Booooooooooo! lol.

yes that would be included in my top 10 360 games. 1 button controlled mostly everything. That was one of my favorite things. Graphics were brilliant, storyline was crazy, I knew pretty soon though that the HAIC (head assassin in charge) was not on the up and up. How much demand do they need?

I loved Assassins' Creed. I'd love to play through it more, but, the lack of inability to skip forward through the video scenes, drives me insane. I want to play the game dammit. By the time the waffling's over I don't want to play any more lol .

I know, it's part of the story, but, I prefer games which give you the option to skip or not. Also why I dislike RPGs a bit too. Only reason I didn't play Kingdom Hearts more .

Some games I do watch/listen to it, but other games I just want to jump straight into the game play.

My top 5:
1. Halo 3. Though I don't play it as much anymore, the replay value is near-endless if you have a bunch of friends that enjoy Matchmaking and Custom Games. Then with Forge no one can ever say that the maps get old. It gives any map the possibility to look 100% different.
2. Burnout Paradise. For $60 you get an amazing online racing game with constant free updates. You can have fun just driving around aimlessly with friends. Another plus that most people don't notice is that you are more likely to find friendly players in Burnout that most games. Sure it has it's jerks, but much of my friends list is made of people I've met in Burnout.
3. Rainbow Six: Vegas (1 or 2). Anyone that has ever played a Rainbow Six game can easily tell you that CoD4 is not in any way realistic. Even the Vegas games, which are considered to be toned down from traditional R6 games, are incredibly realistic. The online offers a level of customizablity that most games can't offer. Everyone's character looks different and each gun has multiple options for attachments. There are a solid number of maps and gametypes, each offering totally different scenarios. Because of the game's cover system, each map and gametype changes the game from 'where am I playing' to 'how am I playing'. Run and gunning is an option, but to be good you have to take advantage the map and cover. So much different from most FPS games you see.
4. Mass Effect. The only game I stayed awake 48 hours playing. The storyline is amazing and has the unique blend of RPG and FPS rolled into one great game. The options available make it well worth a few playthroughs.

Meh...I think COD4 was an average game in terms of campaign. The multiplaer was really good though. I would have:

3. Gears of War
4. Call of Duty 4
5.Bioshock
