Best XBox 360 Game of 2006?

I've only played a couple of 360 games but, I think that Gears Of War is pretty awesome for graphics and gameplay and lifted the 360 at a time when it could've been battered heavily by the PS3 - thats my choice - GOW!

What do you think is the best game that's been released for the 360 in 2006 and why do you think it's the best?

I keep hearing sooo many good things about Gears of war, that im tempted to get it.....then remember its a TPS, and me's wouldn't like it lol.


I do have a 360, i've hardly played it. I seem to download more demo's than buy games lol. BUT, from what I have seen from it, my favourite one, would have to be, Tony Hawks Project 8
The game play is amazing, and after the last TH game I played, i kinda lost interest, but this grabbed my interest again Although only played the demo, am gettin the game for xmas :-D - or maybe wait til after xmas, see if theres any sales, then get more games with the money

Only games I have for 360 now is GOW (the best) and Dead Rising, which I havent had time to play cause I'm too busy playing GOW. haha However I LOVE survial horror so I'm looking forward to gettin in on DR. But hands down GOW has my vote. SO addictive.

I have Gears Of War, Project Gotham Racing 3, Call Of Duty 2, F.E.A.R, Dead Or Alive 4, Quake 4, Oblivion and Battlestations.

Gears Of War I think, is the best game by far on the 360. I love the gameplay and the graphics and I like unlocking all the achievments which some are really hard! I'm a GoW Whore lol, it's my favourite game... so addictive!
