Details have been released of a new piece of technology that allows you to watch full length movies on your [Only registered users can see links. ]. How? Magic! Well, no, not really, it is simply a clever [Only registered users can see links. ] converter. We’ve got all the info for you inside.
[Only registered users can see links. ]Want to watch DVDs on your Wii? Well, now you can…sort of. Thanks to a company called X-OOM you can now watch [Only registered users can see links. ] and TV shows via your Wii. The [Only registered users can see links. ] works by converting the movie file over to be compatible with the Wii hardware.
X-OOM’s latest software, supporting the MJPEG codec, allows for perfect quality playback. Simply run the [Only registered users can see links. ] on a PC and save the file using ‘Movies on Wii’ to the appropriate format; once this is complete, transfer the file to the Wii using an SD [Only registered users can see links. ].


With a number of editing options including an ‘Expert Mode’, you can also cut and back up individual scenes and whole movies as you wish. With help from X-OOM’s Fit-To-Stick technology, movies can be automatically loaded onto the memory card in a short, simple process using only the space that is available.
