Wii Speak On 16th November 2008, Going For $29.99

The Nintendo Wii Speak will be on sale on 16th November 2008. This $29.99 microphone gadget will be used for Animal Crossing: City Folk. People who purchase the Wii Speak will be given a code to download and activate the Wii Speak Channel from the Wii Shop. The Wii Speak allows 4 buddies of different locations who have traded Friend Codes to talk to one another with their Mii on their TV screen. Audio messages can be left and you can narrate captions for your photos even.

Expect more from the Wii Speak as Nintendo will continue to add more functions and games to complement this useful Wii thingy.

Line Rider 2: Unbound, Sledding-Cold New Release This Week

Given that video games are getting more elaborate and difficult in game play, Line Rider 2: Unbound for the Wii offers an alternative. Slated for release this week, Line Rider 2: Unbound challenges you with a sled and simple laws of Physics. The internet-turned-console game has 3 modes: Story, Freestyle and Puzzle.
In Story mode, you have to complete 40 mind-bending puzzle tracks made by Line Rider legend TechDawg. Of course, there’s some story plot that involves Bosh (the hero), Chad (the villian) and Bailey (the damsel). You can also design and upload your own puzzle for the world to solve in puzzle creation mode. While Freestyle play lets you adds bells and whistles to your puzzle.
Among the new Wii releases this week, Line Rider 2: Unbound is highly recommended by us.

Let’s Tap, Prope & Sega Won’t Let You Touch Your Wii Remote

Sega and Prope (pronounced as “pro-peh”), a game studio by former Sega game designer, Yuji Naka, have a Wii rhythm game called Let’s Tap. As the name goes, you just do some tapping with your hands in the different mini games without touching the Wii remote. The remote will be facing down on a box for instance and its accelerometer will pick up the vibrations you create.
