Ubisoft has announced how their newest game, Driver: Parallel Lines, will be controlled with the Wiimote and Nunchuck. According to Ubisoft, the Wiimote will be used for shooting people down, selection weapons, and selecting targets. The Nunchuck will be used to steer while driving, accelerate, brake, and control the character. Ubisoft has also changed a few things so that the Wii version will be better than the Xbox and PS2 version. It also gives it a Grand Theft Auto feel. Here is what they said.
We have also implemented a new controller concept. There is no auto-target; so the player will be able to point and shoot everywhere on the screen. We have changed the camera to an OTS (over the shoulder) view. The advantage is that the experience is similar to a FPS (first person shooter) so it’s more fun as well.
Release date is set for March 30th.
