Sanko is about to release a charging station for the Wii remote controllers. The charger is said to utilize the Wii's USB port. All you have to do is replace the battery cover with the packaged battery pack and then you'll be able to use the charger.

Charge time takes around three and a half hours and each charge should last around 25 hours.

Each charger is sold separately, and as mentioned, should set you back by around US 29. You can save a bit by buying a two-pack which should cost around $53.

Sanko's charging station differs from Nyko's (which will soon be released in North America) in that Sanko will release charge stations separately.

USB charging seems a good idea. Still dont understand why Nintendo didnt make the Wiimotes rechargable...this looks good though

But yup, i agree, would have been better if Nintendo had done that to start with, make them rechargeable. Ie, learning from the 360 wireless controllers, as i got a plug n play kit for that, but yup, gotta limit my wii use, so i dont run outta batteries again lol

The next bit of news I wanna hear, is that it is released, ok?

In the UK too, dont tell me when i can buy it in the US lmao
