He stated that "This five-year-old needed encouragement to do any exercise - but here he was running about for half-an-hour working up a sweat."

The program was to be initially adapted for kids, but Uruqhart found that it appeals to adults as well. He even said that "It's been great for adults coming back from injury and for OAPs." His adult clients such as Caroline Cassiday from Blantyre, Lanarkshire swear by it, and she even admitted that "It really helped to tone me up."

This actually confirms studies done by Universities which stated that a 15 minute session can burn 125 calories. In Liverpool John Moores University, they also found that an average of 12.2 hour gaming week burns 1830 calories, which is the equivalent of shifting 27 pounds a year.

Nintendo [Only registered users can see links. ] has commented on this saying "We're not aware of anyone else doing this but it shows what the Wii can be used for."
*Sets wii up again* lol

Lots of reports/stories about the wii, and exercise, and being good for ya.
Also, have to agree, I'd rather play wii than do exercise lol. Would rather play wii for 30mins than exercise for 5 mins - lazy i know, but, meh :9:
