Nintendo defends UK Wii stock

The spokesperson urges that Wii fans should not give up, and even goes as far as to suggest using sites like Yahoo, and other services that allow folks to check stock levels at certain stores. On the bright side, it's amusing to note that each Wii made is sold at a profit, so Nintendo shouldn't have to fear their supposed stocking woes so much.

Amazing imo, that even now, almost 4 months after launch and they're still all being sold quickly.
My local Game store for example, got 6 in one day, and sold within 30mins. Another time, got 30 in - I went within 2 days. So the numbers theyre sending are reasonable, cept theres still many without :eek:

No, still not many. Yeah Nintendo might be supplying them but, theyre still pretty scarce in the UK right now. It's good to see Nintendo actually commenting on it. Shows they know we want more!!

Sorry to bump again, but my cousin was visting from England and said she hasn't seen them at all. She wanted to get one, she was just visiting here last week. Her husband wanted to get a PS3, I talked him out of it, once he got his hands on my Wii and started playing Call of Duty, Second Opinion and Blazing Angels he loved it. He said he is going to talk to one of his friends who can get about anything. Oh yes another one comes to the Wii Side

But imo I think Ninty is actually keeping the Wii extremely popular becuase they are so hard to find. I wonder if it's a marketing scheme? I usually want things I can't have or get easily....:confused:
