PS2 Question

let's say I downloaded a ps2 game,
Will it work on the ps2?

Cause my friend has a ps2 and we have no idea if it will work.

If you have modded your ps2 then you can. But if it's a regular ps2 no modifications....no go. You can however soft mod the PS2...

I do, no mod chip!

BUT I use memor 32 with momento FW, then burn your PS2 game from an ISO with Nero, I tired IMGBURn last night, made a coaster. B

But I have hold start button down when I swtich on PS2 and boot game I made up that way, I am trying to find a way of soft modding, FREE MC BOOT is easy mem card mod for HD LOADER and ESR ulaunch elf etc....

So go buy Memor32 (google it and momento) and you can burn your PS2 iso's on to DVDR & DL DVDR and play games.

NO MOD CHIP!

I want find a way of booting normally, Momento is meant to that too, but I have to hold start button...

no, its a piece of cake, and a lot easier then installing mod chips...honest, looks daunting but its easy...check oout (link removed) full info or [Only registered users can see links. ], and I use Memor32 with momento and free mc boot and its easy, I cant solder mod chips to save my life and free mc boot is free, all you need is the files downloadable off skkapps and a USB thumb stick and 8MB sony card and its install..memor32 requires flashing FW to mem card via USB..

I believe you. Honestly I am just lazy, if I can get someone else to do it I will. I wish I still had my ps2

actually I discovered I dont need to hold start button! I just cold bootup games...If you want Memor32 send it to me for formware upgrade to play backups and HD LOADER 8.c, Free MC Boot can be done by your self, place files on USB thumbstick, sony mem card, boot, install...I just need to know how to configure Ulaunch elf properly
