| you have to download the 3.90 eboot from psp-hacks.com and rename it to 390.PBP, not .PHP.. get the 3.90 m33(release) from dark-alex.org, install it. then download the 3.90 m33-3 update, install that and you're all done

| Moderator ![]() | [Only registered users can see links. ] So can i use this to downgrade my 4.01 m33-2 to 3.90 m33-3? You can downgrade your 4.01m33 to 3.71m33, then from 3.71m33 upgrade to 3.90m33 [Only registered users can see links. ] Ok nevermind i got the thing running 3.71 but can i downlo0ad the 3.90 PHP And rename it EBOOT.PHP And replace the 3.71 in the recovery folder then run the program to update my psp to 3.90? (unconfirmed...but theoretically, yes. If you have 4.01m33 and you get the 3.90 sony official update, and RENAME is to 390.pbp (rather than havin' the 371.pbp) it should work. Worst case scenario, is you downgrade yourself to 3.71m33, then upgrade yourself to 3.90m33 [Only registered users can see links. ] you have to download the 3.90 eboot from psp-hacks.com (no you don't) both links are already assembled. the 3.71m33 link is designed specifically to downgrade any custom firmware to 3.71m33 the 4.01m33 link is designed to re-flash (or re-install) 4.01m33 on a SEMI-BRICKED psp They were tested twice, and tested on all firmwares (3.71m33 - 3.80m33 - 3.90m33 - 4.01m33 before they were posted on pspiso for the first time about a week ago)

| Moderator ![]() | [Only registered users can see links. ] (first line in the post - If you have any questions...please PM me...I'll get your message much faster.) I see this is your fist post ![]() Does your PSP turn on normally? If by holding "R" you can not turn your PSP on (to get the RECOVERY menu) then you have a "full" brick. This method is meant for "SEMI-BRICK" psp's as the title suggests. IF you can access the main PSP menu, I'll ask for your (custom?) firmware.
