| First off please download thie file below. [Only registered users can see links. ] [USE THIS ONE FIRST] [Only registered users can see links. ] [USE THIS ONE IF THE OTHER ONE DOES NOT WORK] ----------------------------------------------------------------- Not So Fast! Please format your memory stick, also don't forget to backup your files. Unless you want to lose everything, then fine by me. Step One Download the files above that I provided above called "The Filez You Need.rar," take note you need Winrar to extract these. I will provide a link below. [Only registered users can see links. ] Step Two Now once you have done that, go ahead and open the folder you just extracted, and open a folder named "Read 1st." Then highlite the only two folders in there, and copy. After open "My Computer," right click on your C: drive and paste. Don't open it, it's not needed. (Enable USB Mode) Step Three Open up the Command Prompt. Type in "cmd," press enter, next type in "CD C:\" then enter. Note: Command Prompt can be found by opening your start menu, clicking on all programs, clicking on Accessories, and last but not least clicking on "Command Prompt." Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt Step Four Now type "mspformat\mspformat.exe X" (NOTE X IS THE DRIVE LETTER OF YOUR MEM. STICK, REPLACE WITH YOURS), now press enter. Press "Y," and enter. It should say "Drive succesfully formatted, and partition moved." Note: Remove the quotations. Step Five Disable USB Mode, and take out the memory stick. Now put back the memory stick and enable USB Mode. Step Six Open the folder you extracted again, and then open up the folder "Despertar v3." Now put the files/folder in the root of your memory stick. Do not put the actual Despertar V3 folder in you PSP. It won't work that way. Note: You should have nothing in the memory stick anyway. Step Seven I hope you didn't close the Command Prompt window, because we are going back to it. Type in "msinst\msinst.exe X msinst\msipl.bin" (AGAIN X REPRESENTS YOUR MEMORY STICK'S DRIVE LETTER, SO REPLACE IT WITH YOURS). Press enter, then press "Y" and the last line should say "Write MS BOOT CODE." Note: Remove the quotations. Step Eight Type "exit" and you're done! YOU HAVE A MAGIC MEMORY STICK!!! Please tell if it works or if something is not right. Also don't be rude, this is my first guide. |
