This guide will show you how to install the latest custom firmware on your PSP (Phat and Slim)

The latest custom firmware version is: 4.01 M33-2
Requirements
Phat/Slim PSP
3.52 M33 (Phat)[Step 2]/3.60 M33 (Slim)[Step 3] or higher.
If you meet the requirements, go to step 4.

Requirements
Phat PSP
Version 1.50 or any CFW below 3.51 M33 (If you haven't got 1.50 find out how to downgrade [Only registered users can see links. ]
)
3.52 M33 Files; Download: [Only registered users can see links. ]
3.52 Update file; Download: [Only registered users can see links. ]
1.50 Update File; Download: [Only registered users can see links. ]
Revision 4; Download: [Only registered users can see links. ]
Installation
First Download the 3.52 M33 files.
On 1.50, you must kxploit-patch your firmware. To do this, extract the contents of the '150 only' folder to /PSP/GAME. Execute the 'Kxploit Permanent Patcher' from the XMB. When you patch your system, the M33CREATOR will appear, and be able to launch.
Move the 'M33CREATOR' folder to /PSP/GAME.
Download the 3.52, and 1.50 updates. When done, extract and rename them to '352.PBP', and '150.PBP' respectively.
Then move the two files to /PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR. From there, launch the M33CREATOR from the XMB. When it launches, it will compile the firmware for you.
When it is done, you will be booted into the XMB. Go back to GAME>MemoryStick. You will see a new app called '35XM33UPDATE'. Launch that and follow the on screen instructions.
When done, press X to shutdown your PSP, and reboot normally.
To install the 3.52 M33-4 revision, download the files and move the update folder to /PSP/GAME150. From there, just launch from the XMB, and update.

Requirements
Slim PSP on 3.60
Phat homebrew capable PSP on 1.50 or on CFW
JigKick Battery [Only registered users can see links. ][Only registered users can see links. ]
256MB MS PRO DUO
3.60 M33 files; Download: [Only registered users can see links. ]
Pandora GUI 1.5; Download: [Only registered users can see links. ]
Installation
Install Pandora GUI on your computer and run it. Follow the instructions on the phat PSP.
If successful, plug both MS and JigKick Battery in the Slim and press X
Let it run while it flashes everything.
Press X to reboot
If done successful you will be on 3.60 M33
NOTE: THIS IS A SLIM ONLY CFW. IF INSTALLED ON A PHAT CHANCES ARE IT WILL BRICK AND PERMANENT DATA STORAGE DAMAGE!!!
[Step 4]
Installation
First Download the 4.01 M33 files.
Copy the UPDATE folder to /PSP/GAME
Download 4.01 and rename to 401.PBP
Put the 4.01 sony update as 401.PBP in the same folder.
Launch the M33 update from the XMB
To install the 4.01 M33-2 revision, download the files and move the update folder to /PSP/GAME150. From there, just launch from the XMB, and update.
Additional Step: If you have a phat PSP, download the 1.50 Kernal Addon for 4.01 M33. Copy the folder to /PSP/GAME/ Download the 1.50 eboot and place it on the root of the PSP and name it 150.PBP then launch from the XMB. Do not follow this step if you have a Slim PSP
