So, you're sailing down the digital snow-covered slopes in Buddy4point0's excellent little piece of PSP homebrew gaming joy, PssxP, and you wonder: will I ever get to surf the frozen waves with full analog support? Wonder no longer, dear reader, for Buddy4point0 has come through with the latest version of PssxP, making this PSP homebrew game version 1.1 for the Sony PlayStation Portable, with this one sporting a lot of updates from the previous version. And of course, full analog support!
Let's check the changelog and see what's new with v1.1:
Optimized File Arrangement
remade some menus
fixed blitting times, everything scrolls correctly now, instead of sometimes appearing like before
no more ugly white screens for finishing, high score, level select, etc.
full analog support
Not only did PSP homebrew dev Buddy4point0 add in full analog support, but also squeezed in a few cosmetic changes to make the overall gameplay experience smoother. Of course, everyone knows just what's needed for PssxP to even be more awesome: the inclusion of the feared Yeti that chased you down in Skifree. Rawr!
Wasn't there a game like this on Windows? I swear there was. Although, my mind is withering away. I love these types of games though. Simple and to the point.
