Thumbs up How to Downgrade/Upgrade/Recover M33 CFW.

This will only Cover 3.71 M33-4, 4.01M33-2, and 5.00M33. NO PANDORA BAT. NEEDED

You can be on any CFW to use this and switch back and forward on CFW.
Functionality

  • Flashes a fresh M33 CFW ([Only registered users can see links. ], [Only registered users can see links. ] or [Only registered users can see links. ]) for recovering semi-bricks or to up-/downgrade CFW.
  • Does not use Pandora, runs from the recovery menu or the XMB.
  • Does not use the original Sony Updater (only extracts all required files from the original .PBP).
  • Runs fine on CFWs lower than [Only registered users can see links. ]-3.
  • Runs fine from [Only registered users can see links. ] ([Only registered users can see links. ] on Fat and [Only registered users can see links. ] on Slim).
  • Can backup the FW flash and restore selected parts ([Only registered users can see links. ] theme, settings, PSN activation, complete firmware).

Here i will show how to Downgrade/Upgrade/RecoverFlash on M33 firmware in a single Punch.

This will just be the installation, because once you open the homebrew on your PSP the usage would be self explanatory.

In this case we will be using "Recovery Flasher".
"Recovery Flasher is a homebrew unbricker and CFW upgrader/downgrader made by [Only registered users can see links. ]. The latest update is 1.41 released on 24/10/2008." (dark alex web)

Step one:
Download all of this:
If needed, Sony 3.71 Updater
If needed, Sony 4.01 Updater
If needed, Sony 5.00 Updater
PSP Recovery Flasher Will need

all can be downloaded here:
[Only registered users can see links. ]

YOU SHOULD HAVE FOUR THINGS:
371.PBP
401.PBP
500.PBP
rflash141.rar

  • Installing
  1. Extract the rflash141.rar file
  2. open the rflash141 file and pull out the Recovery File.
  3. Now grab your 371.PBP, 401.PBP, and 500.PBP Eboots and place them INSIDE the Recovery folder.
In the RECOVERY file you should have:
371.PBP
401.PBP
500.PBP

EBOOT.PBP

4. now copy your RECOVERY file and place it in (MS0: PSP/GAME)
NOT GAME150 The reson is because its a recovery file.
thats if you want it to be extracted from the "Recovery menu"

5. now go to your PSP XMB down to games and you should see this. [Only registered users can see links. ]

your done.

Special thanks to Dark Alex and Hell cats.
