Because you guys asked for it, homebrew dev Lokiare has released a new version for his PSP brewed app, CPU-Modulator, v0.10. Although it doesn't bring loads of changes, you can definitely say they're valuable ones.
  • Modulates between 333, 222, 111, and 95 automatically.
  • Removed annoying text onscreen.
  • Added logging support (change logging=1 to 0 for no logging)
As usual, do check out the readme for further details and installation instructions.

I hear this can increase your battery life since it automatically lowers the cpu speed so it requires less energy. But would that cause slower loading times for lower end games? I think I might try it out, not hard to do it manually but this might be useful. Anyone else tried it?

any news on this?

I might use it, but I have 2 back up batteries in my psp case so I don't need to worry about battery life ^_^.

Instead of holding umds in my case I just hold 2 extra batteries and store my memory cards in my psp (2x8gb, 4gb, 512mb magic memory stick).

Yay for CF.
