the difference is that a ctf theme is used with cxmb and is pretty much all the appropriate files use with a flash0 theme compiled into one file. flash0 are individual file you place in your flash0 which has a possibility of bricking.

Making CTF the safest and easiest option .

A few prefer flash0, but I'd recommend CTF themes .

CTF themes: have all the icons in the same place, but they just LOOK different
PRO: EXTREMELY easy to use
CON: NOT NEARLY as fun as FLASH0 themes




FLASH0 themes change the ENTIRE look of the PSP theme
PRO: EXTREMELY FUN to use
CON: VERY easy to brick and semi-brick your PSP

Flash0= you can do more with it because all the files are open for you to mess with, but have a 70% chance of bricking your PSP if your new at it.

CTF= 95% safe, with this you cant Customize because its a single file unless you extract the files using "CTF manager". by the way you have to use "CXMB Plug-in" to use CTF.

stick with CTF

Actually CTF is the same look as Flash0. just depends on the developer

Those "CTF" themes, look more like PTF themes.
PTF themes are official by Sony and safe. And work on official and custom firmware.

CTFs can move the icons and such, it's the same as FLASH0 but safer.

So If I got a theme that has a CTF file and a Flash0 they would both be the same just a different way of installing them onto the PSP?
