| 360Gamer© ![]() | Will you only be using it for a magic memory stick or for use with your PSP after? For a magic memory stick, only a 256mb card is needed. Personally I'd say get an 8GB for your PSP and a 256mb card for magic memory stick files. 256mb cards are dirt cheap . And cheaper than buying a 4GB card and finding it's not enough so then buy another 4GB or an 8GB after.

| Moderator ![]() | [Only registered users can see links. ] to back up [Only registered users can see links. ] 128 - 256 is plenty for a magic memory stick. You're supposed to be able to use a MAGIC MEMORY STICK as "real" memory stick (games etc). You'll see the files/folders in the game-memory stick menu on your PSP, but they wont do anything. I always suggest people have a SPARE battery and a SPARE mms so they can just pull it up when they need it. Some people make a pandora battery and magic memory stick, then convert the battery back to normal and format the magic memory stick when they're done...but if they ever need one again, they gotta re-convert it etc (quite the hassle in my opinion)

| Moderator ![]() | [Only registered users can see links. ] do the 8GB work on the psp? Some of my sources have provided several different reports. Some report mild errors. Others report SOME games work SOMEtimes and not all games etc. (thus limited functionality). Some report flawless use. They're well over $100 which is fuel for me to hold off. 4 GIG is PLENTY of space. I can't imagine what I would do with 8 GIG. I have games etc on my PSP I don't even really play anymore, 'cause as I'm in the middle of a great game, a new one is released (like star wars force Unleashed). I was kinda in the middle of FF7 and then that's released, so I'm runnin' through that (and MAN IS IT FUN!!!) Too many games to play...it's sooo goood...I have a SPAREMMS and pandora battery in a small change purse at home. If I ever need it, there it is, and I use it as I need (and get request frequently for modding someone's psp, or someone who bricked theirs. I think it's silly to convert a battery back to normal, or a MMS back to normal memory stick. I was 'prepared' and got spare stuff to work with. Now I have it whenever I need it.
