Default 4.01 M33-2 help needed

Im needing some assitance with setting my psp up again for playing (backed up) .iso's or .cso's..

Well im sitting on a phat PSP-1006 (jap inport)
i been messing about with it since i got it on day of release and have managed to go through loads of cfw's.

atm im on 4.01 M33-2 and am having some big problems. i gave my psp a little bash and my umd drive doesn't work so im having trouble playing .iso's compared to other cfw's.

does anyone have any idea how to resolve this situation. also any ideas on any devhook's that would work on 4.01M33-2 just so play some .iso's.. thanks

Best solution is to, go to the recovery menu (hold the right trigger while turning your PSP on), configuration and change the UMD mode to Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-

It means you can still play your backup games, without a UMD in the drive

Hope that helps

or you can access the VSH menu from the XMB by pressing select and do the same thing without the hassle of recovery menu
