Default Severe problem with homebrew

Hi, Whenever I try to use any homebrew on my PSP slim/lite (4.01m33-2) they don't work.

Basicallly what is happening is, I go and put the files on my PSP in their corresponding folders and then they show up as corrupted on my PSP and it refuses to delete them.

The only way I manage to delete them is by formatting my MS (after making a back-up of my themes, games and saves) but thats really annoying as it takes 10-20 minutes to back-up and 50-90 minutes to put it all back after the format.

If anyone knows what is wrong with my PSP, I would love to know. I just hope I don't need to re-install the CFW

If there are some files I am missing to run the homebrew on my slim, could someone let me know? all I have at the moment is a cxmb plugin (theme thingy).

Cheers

EDIT: Still not sure, I removed cxmb and all my games (full format) and then tried to put music and videos on the psp, works great. Only problem is I'm missing my games and themes. Going to try homebrew now.

EDIT 2: I think its fixed now, homebrew works fine Going to put my games back on now and going to ditch cxmb until I know whats wrong with it. I thought my brand new 8gb was screwed, thank god.
