Default PSP-2000 Question

I have a psp-2000 with cfw 4.01m33-2. Recently, I lent it to my cousin and when he returned it to me, i found that he "accidentally" deleted Go! Messenger. Now, ever since it was deleted (he said he "accidentally" deleted it from the XMB menu) I found my psp to be slowing down a bit.
Just a couple of minutes ago, I was listening to my music then it suddenly got choppy. Could the deletion of Go!Messenger have caused it? If so, is there any way that I could fix said problems of psp slowing down?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Press the Select button and change the XMB speed to "Default"

CPU clock XMB and the CPU Clock game are in default when I press SELECT. Another question, though, since I rarely use Go!Messenger, it wouldn't cause any problems if I don't bother re-installing/downloading it again, will it?

@Bonkerzz: Yeah, I definitely won't let him borrow it anymore. I won't risk it. lol

as i always say " If its F%*^ed Up, REFORMAT" (well that works for windows anyway) but no really try formating the mem stick so there no croupted crap laying around and if that don't work... PANDORA the crap out of that thing and start fresh.

some times you need to format your psp and even sometimes clean your recovery clean, and put all your mods and xmbs back on...

Go!Messenger is not the fault of your psp slowing down,It could be that ur psp has problems finding Files on ur memorystick because its not formatted,It can however need Go!messenger just for loading and seeing its not there will cause it to lagg.

Just remember to save all your game saves or anything else you want to save before you reformat. Use the psp to reformat, not through windows or you computer.
