How long have you had 3.90 m33 installed?

Have you put any ctf or flash themes on it?

I've had that problem happen to me when putting flash themes on the PSP and it didnt like it ().

Are you able to get into the recovery menu?
If it is to do with a flash theme, replace the original files, if it isn't, you need to recover the PSP, I'm not too sure right now how to do that on a PSP with 3.90 M33 but I will find out............................................... ....i think though, that you would need to put the 3.90 m33 files onto the psp, but instead of naming the folder m33 or whatever folder (which goes in the GAME folder), put the required files into a folder called RECOVERY and then in recovery mode, tell the PSP to "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP - which will reinstall 3.90 M33 for you.

First off, what you SHOULD have done was back up your Flash0.
Looks like you're pretty screwed.

But there are some things you CAN do. (Good thing you have your handy recovery menu)
Unfortunately, I was not able to find the recovery files for 3.90.
Google did not smile upon me but maybe it will smile upon you.

But from my knowledge...you have 2 solutions.

Option 1:
Locating or requesting a clean dump of the flash0 of a 3.90 PSP.
However, there is a possibility this may not work.
Especially if you have a Slim.

Option 2:
Pandora's battery.
If you can get a hold of one...good for you.
You just saved your ass.

You can learn more via Google.

Unfortunately, no.
I'm still sitting stable on 3.52 M33-4.
I'll take a look around the net.
Someone has one.

Hello all, first poster here. Nice to meet everyone! I know this isn't the introduction thread but i'm posting here to stop a very possible "I'm going to destroy my psp moment".

Mufc21, if your psp shuts down after the gameboot, it's likely that your resource folder [flash0] is corrupted somewhere. There are only really a few things you can do to fix this. One thing you do not want to do is use someone elses flash0. Everyones flash0 is partitioned to fit their own psp; so if i sent you my flash0, you would have a full brick, i.e, it won't even turn on period.

Not only that, if you use someone elses flash0, you have a decent chance to screw up something that is not repairable, your Idstorage. If your idstorage gets corrupt, that psp is shot, and unless you've a nand dump, which i'm guessing you do not considering you can't fix your own brick, theres no way to fix it. So, i'll say this in bold letters. Do not ever reflash your psp with someone elses flash0, or someone elses nand-dump.

Now that i've been a jerk and yelled at you, i'll tell you how to fix it. If you've no backup of your own flash0, you've only one option good sir/madam; reflash custom firmware with your Pandora Battery/Magic Memory Stick. The same method that was used to install CFW; just do it again.

For future knowledge, in order to run the Recovery feature of the recovery menu, i believe you must have a physical decrypted firmware with 3.90, but don't count me on that one.

Sorry for writing a book, but i don't want to see anyones psp get nuked.

And again, hello all.
