Default PSP Should I just buy a new one?

So my PSP doesn't work anymore had custom firmware on it and was all set up. Then it crashed on me. Turns on won't show a screen. I did drop it a few times and what not. If I put it on a desk and it's turned on...it turns off.

So should I just but a new one and go legit for the time being hoping that I can mod it later?

How much did you play your PSP?
Do you miss playing it?
Did you actually use the homebrew features of it?

If ya played it a lot/miss playing it, then yeah, get another one.
As for legit? Well, depends how much you used homebrew/isos? - If not a lot, then yeah sure, get a new one, probably the PSP slim.
Or, there's always ebay - get a 1.50 one, or a downgradable one, and sorted

I used it mainly for iso's and watching movies. Movies more than games. But once I used the CF and figured it out and all I was playing and downloading iso's like nuts.

I miss it....

Gahhh all these things I want to buy and I know I am gonna get yelled at. But a PSP Slim is easy to hide and and she won't know the difference

I just need the lcd screen replaced and I am too lazy to do it myself. But someone said I should get repair service off of Ebay. Only prob is, that what if they keep it and don't return it. If I need to break legs I want to make sure I know where they are

I say buy a new one if there are a bunch of new games for it that you want, or if the games you have for it have replay value.
But if you find yourself doing fine without it, I'd pass on dropping the money for a new one.
