no, ps1 gameboots must be played in eboot form, so all you need to do is put it on your stick and get a good popsloader. Make a folder named Crash Bandicoot 3, and put those files in it. Then put the folder on your memory stick under ms0:/PSP/Game. Now, when you go to the game menu in your XMB, Crash bandicoot will be there. The next thing we need to do is get a good popsloader. The file I attatched is the 3.80 M33+ Popsloader V2. It WILL work on 4.01 M33 The readme in the file will tell you what to do, but i'll guide you too.

Take the folder entitled seplugins and put that directly at the root of your memory stick. If it asks you to replace any files during the copy, say no, but to copy anyway. Most likely if it does as this, the file it will want to replace will be a text file entitled pops.txt. If that is the case, go into seplugins after the copy, open up the pops.txt, and write this underneath any thing else in the file:

ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx

Now that that is done, save eveything and put the memory stick in the psp. Enter the recovery menu (turn off the psp by holding the power button up for three to five seconds, then hold R as you turn it on untill the recovery menu comes up.) Then go down to plugins menu (says plugins) then go down to popsloader.prx and press X to enable it. Once you have done that, exit out of the recovery menu, and the psp will reboot. Now go to the game menu and Crash Bandicoot will be there. When you turn it on, you can hold R and it will ask you what version of pops you want to use. I use 3.71 whenever a game can handle it, otherwise, stay with the very bottom one (original from flash)
