I would like to make a PC program for PSP as i am a VB programmer but i dont have any GOOD ideas of what to make.

Ive thought of a backup program, when you put ur psp into usb mode it will backup your mem stick.

I wouldnt mind somehow grabbing the latest CFW release maybie from an RSS feed.
Im open to any ideas, and if i choose yours credit will be given!

I like the backing up of your memory stick idea.
Or more specifically your saved games anyway.
There is an app already that does that, BUT, you need to have an app on ur mem stick and an app running on your computer. I always forget to run the program on my computer. And I swap and change between laptop and computer and my friends laptop. Idk if itd be possible to do something like that, but, without having to download an app for your PC?

Just make another Easy Installer.

Everyone loves those.
Or a ROM organizer or something like that.

i will do the backup idea for sure, i already had that in mind. And as far as the easy installer. I can do that too. It just might take me a while since i work 10-13 hr days

Ok, well i have started on the GUI, once i figure out all the features i want and once you peeps tell me if it looks good or if im missing anything, i can start coding. I didnt have my psp with me when i started this (it was in my room upstairs, and im lazy) So i didnt get a chance to browse the folder tree of the psp.

Ahh and dont worry, i love making my programs look good too. I dont like the plain grey its dull. So heres an example of a previous program i made a long time ago, just to show that it will look good too haha

Looks good so far even with the blocky grey (SoftMod Tool looks awesome

). I cant wait for more updates - I'll use a backup tool that you make for sure.
