I was gonna get this game for my b'day, but didn't and my bro wants it for xmas, but, is it really any good?

My bro didn't like Sims 2 on PSP, where as I quite liked it, but hate the PC versions of it (and he loves the PC versions).

Is this one more like the PC versions, or does it keep with the Sims 2 on PSP kinda play?
