The PLAYSTATION 3 system software version 2.00 update includes the following:

Here's an update to the news posted yesterday.

Strange. We're not really sure how to take this bit of info, but it seems as if [Only registered users can see links. ] of the PS3's FW 2.0 changelog was nothing but a rumor after all. Or is it? The news comes from EuroGamer, who says that [Only registered users can see links. ]'s been all hush-hush about the leaked notes that've been doing rounds over online forums and sites.

According to EuroGamer, Sony's only statement regarding this issue is that they're dismissing the leakage as "speculation." Details of this dismissal from Sony are sketchy, and it seems that only EuroGamer has reported on it. To what extent is [Only registered users can see links. ] debunked by Sony? If the release notes are just "speculation," then [Only registered users can see links. ]?

If there's anything good to come out of this (and if we take EuroGamer for their word on it), then there's but one thing positive about Sony's statement. They denied the changelog as speculation... But they didn't deny the fact that they're coming out with [Only registered users can see links. ]. There's a bit of difference there. And as far as we're concerned, we're still going to have to play the Rumor card again.

I read the first post, and, quite a lot of the stuff sounds great. But yah, second post, just confuses me. What does it mean exactly?
Heck it's Sony, so of course there is a new firmware update soon. It wouldnt be Sony if there wasnt lol
