Aside from that, online gaming site Computer and Video Games (CVG) talked to SCEE earlier today to know if they'll be implementing pre-paid PSN cards in the region. In case you missed it, it's actually [Only registered users can see links. ] consumers can use on the Network to purchase video game titles and other content.

Unfortunately, SCEE is not so keen on having the service available yet. "We have no plans to release the PSN cards in Europe at this time," one representative told the above mentioned site. On the brighter side of things, the spokesperson did say "yet" so there's still hope for European consumer.

After all, the service won't be available in Japan until next month. There's still no word on Sony Computer Entertainment America's ([Only registered users can see links. ]) take on the matter.

Pre-paid PSN cards, sound like a great idea to me, and, you should be able to get them already imo
You can buy microsoft points via the 360/credit card, or instore....and wii points, either via the wii/credit card, or instore, so why not the same for the PS3?
As soon as they do that, then i think they'll have more downloads, and make more money......cuz not everyone has a credit card they can use.
