How to install 4.01M33 Then to 5.00M33(Easy way)

NO, if you follow my instructions then you should be OK.

Here I will show you an easy way to Install Custom Firmware the easy way. With this you can also install back to Official firmware at the same time.

The latest CFW is currently 5.00 M33-3

note: you cannot install earlier firmware than 3.60 on a slim and if your trying to install an earlier version this may not work.

What do I need:

• Pandora Battery ([Only registered users can see links. ]) Click

• Memory stick pro 1Gb (has to be Original or it will not work)
  

• PSP()

• Changer

OK once you have all of this you can go to the next step.

1. Charge your Pandora Battery & normal battery to it's fullest 100%

(Just insert the battery to the PSP and let it sit DONT TURN IT ON!!!)

Step2-Files Needed
You will need to download two things
1. PSP graded V006 ([Only registered users can see links. ]Click

2.official firmware(OFW) 4.01 ([Only registered users can see links. ]) Click
now remember get 4.01 not 4.05 or 4.00.

Ok so now you should have 401.PBP
PSP grader V006-lite setup.exe

Step3-Making the Magic
Now install PSP Grader V006 in to your computer.
Run the Program and you should have something like this.




Connect your Memory stick to your PSP by USB cable or card reader.
PSP grader should Locate it.

• Press “Load eBoot” and navigate to the OFW you downloaded. (401.PBP)
• Don't bother with select trigger button
  
• check mark "Format memorystick" make sure your formatting the right drive
• Press the “Create Pandora Stick” button, and let it run it’s magic. take a brake this will take a while.
  

Note: If you haven’t used a Genuine Memory Stick you might encounter problems.

when its all done you should see a message saying "All Done!". you can uninstall it if you want, I kept it just in case i want to me another Magic stick.

Step3-transfer the magic
now unplug all your wires(USB, Charger) and grab your fully charge Pandora battery and normal battery.

• pop in FIRST your Magic stick to the PSP.
• insert the Pandora batter to your PSP. the psp should turn on by its self.

When PSP turned on you should see a screen like this

• Obviously you’ll want to select “Install 4.01 M33″ or you wouldn’t be reading this guide.
• you'll have Progress bar telling you the current state(don't turn off or remove battery)
  
• When it’s all done, you’ll get a confirmation screen telling you to either shutdown or reboot. you'll want to shutdown and insert the normal battery.
• If you want to check it’s all gone OK, navigate to “Settings > System Settings > System Information” and check what the installed System Software is.

• 

Don't worry about the system's name or mute key tone. Just reset the PSP's default settings. "Klutsh’s PSP" is the guy that made the program.

"Obviously the CFW has it’s own built in settings menu. These are called the VSH menu and the Recovery Menu. You can find settings for adjusting the way the PSP behaves to some extent.You can access the Recovery Menu by holding down the Right Shoulder button when booting the PSP, and the VSH menu by pushing select on the XMB."

Step4- Optional

How to install 5.00M33? well first off you cant just skip to 5.00M33-3 you need 5.00 M33 first, well maybe you can but you might run in to some problems. i say do this first.

• download 5.00M33 CFW file is available at the very bottom ([Only registered users can see links. ])Click
• The Sony OFW 5.00([Only registered users can see links. ])Click

you should have two things 500.PBP (Note: if it's named 5.00.PBP just rename it)
500M33.rar

• now Open up the 500.M33.rar file and extract the “UPDATE” folder.
• then Copy and past the 500.PBP to the "UPDATE" folder.
• there should be two things inside the UPDATE folder "EBOO.PBP & 500.PBP".
• Now copy this folder over USB to “P:\PSP\GAME” on your PSPs memory stick.
• Go to your XMB menu on your PSP then down to games. you should see.

Run it!!! stay with it the whole time dont leave it sit

When it is finished, press the X or O button to reboot the console.
You can now delete the “UPDATE” folder.

ALL done !!!

I suggest moving up to 5.00M33-3. DO IT if you want ISOs

To do this just download 5.00M33 at the very bottom([Only registered users can see links. ])Click

Just re-do step4 but this time you don't need to the Official firmware (OFW) 500.PBP. Just extract the “UPDATE” folder, and copy it to “P:\PSP\GAME” on your PSPs memory stick and run it.
JUST REMEMBER TO REBOOT YOUR PSP WHEN DONE!!

You don't need the highest custom firmware to play ISO's. You can play ISO/CSO's on any M33 custom firmware from 3.52m33 to 5.00m33
