November 26, 2007 - In news sure to please the Frag Dolls and the 20 or so other girls in the world that are into first person shooters on the PC, FPS accessory manufacturer WolfKing has announced that it is launching new versions of its popular Warrior and Trooper peripherals designed to appeal specifically to the sensibilities of the fairer sex. Available exclusively though Dell, the Girl Gamer Warrior and Trooper each gain a Flamingo Pink accent gradient for a feminine touch to an otherwise hardcore peripheral.

The $34.99 Girl Gamer Warrior offers a circular array of 54-keys that offer convenience and extensive macro functionality for FPS or MMORPG titles. The $39.99 Trooper is a gaming mouse capable of a dpi-range of 800-2200, which makes it a strong value competitor among gaming mice.

Bob Costlow, Wolfking's director of sales, commented on the news: "Female gamers have an incredibly high set of standards when it comes to quality as well as
Design. You can't just paint something pink and say it's for girls. The Girl Gamer Gear gives women access to fully functioning, hardcore gaming devices, but with an aesthetic touch."
20 or so?
It's pretty sweet though

When I saw the title for this post I got all excited. I thought it was going to be for actual Girl Gamers Gear like shirts, sweatbands(for those intense moments) jk , ball caps, etc. I would actually wear the shirt and hat. It would be cool to be able to advertise locally and see women/ladies/girls/females(lol) from each one of our local areas become members here. It's an idea for anyone who has the resources for this kind of thing. Only have them to buy here. Maybe with the picture of the girl (the current one or the one from before) and the web address. Who knows........

Anyway, as for the real topic behind this post, I would have to say that if I was a fan of first-person shooters I would definately look into this. You can never have too much gear!!!

To be honest, I'd wear a GG shirt. lol
As long as I could get a black one with "xDizzy - Moderator" on the back

I like this keyboard, but wouldn't it be a pain having two? (One for typing, other for gaming)

Have you heard of any other girl gamer forums or sites that do the merchandise thing? We could be the first ones! Ah, the beauty of advertising........and for the hats, it would be nice to have a girly baseball cap that is exclusive to us....Girl Gamers I mean. Maybe even magnetic bumper stickers. That way if we are in our cars/trucks and people can't see what we are wearing, they can still see it while we are driving. Clothing and bumperstickers. yeah.......*dreams*

I can barely type now with this keyboard I have now. No way I could handle that one. It's cool though.

And I would totally wear a GirlGamers T-shirt if it was pink and it had Momma Bear Super Mod on back

That's right dizzy, Momma is copying your idea
