Although you may have been wound up that Mario and his clockwork toys didn't get a UK release last year as originally promised, there's finally some good news from Nintendo - it's out next month.

Mario Vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis is a follow-up to the excellent GBA game released in 2005, in which Mario had to rescue his tiny copycats. This time though, the tides have turned and it's up to the Mini Marios to save Nintendo's less omnipresent damsel in distress, Pauline, from the clutches of that great ape DK.

Using the touchscreen, players must guide the mini moustachioed plumbers through a series of increasingly challenging puzzles and tricky obstacles. There are 80 levels to work your way through and you can also share stages you've created yourself with friends over Wi-Fi.

Mario Vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis will be released in the UK on March 9.
