DS for DS Lite

Does anyone have a DS or DS Lite?

Has anyone exchanged their DS for a DS lite, or just keeping their DS?


I sold my silver DS to get my PSP, then i got a blue DS last xmas, then sold it in June for the DS Lite.
Which to me, makes perfect sense and is fine, but quite a few ppl think i'm mad for doing that lol.

Do we even have any DS owners on here?

back in march of 06 when i was getting my psp, the ds lite wasnt out yet and i didnt really like the phat.

then in september or so, i got a ds lite, never had the original.

I sold my red Ds for a pink Ds lite. I think it's worth it . The Ds lite is much better in ways of the Regal Ds. For one it doesn't look like...plastic like the other one did and the power button is on the side. The thing I liked alot is that you can put the brightness you want on it too.

Depends what type of games you like.

I have both and use my PSP more than my DS.
As theres only about 10 games I like on DS, where as PSP, theres 20+ and plus I can watch movies on it
I'd take a look at the features of both of them, and the range of games before you decide

DS owner here and it's PINK!!!! Cept I haven't really played anything but Tiger Woods Golf on it. Maybe in the new year I will pay more attention to it.

Yeh, I havent actually played my DS for a while either. Need new games. But maybe when the DS and Wii interact, then I will again

I started off with a DS and when the DS Lite came out I got one of those as well but still kept my original DS as I'm fond of it and handy at times. I would recommend the DS Lite though as the brighter screens make so much difference.

I don't really care about the DS Lite. I bought a used DS (before DS Lite came out) just to play Animal Crossing: WW. Now though I just buy online games for it since the 1 player games get really boring. I would never trade in my normal DS and then buy a DS Lite. Money wasted for no reason when the DS Lite is the exact same thing as the DS 'phat' except for its shiny look and brighter screen.
