I've been reading alot about girl gamers lately and decided to do a bit of investigating online. This site took my eye, so I decided to join.

I've been a gamer for I'd guestimate about 36 years now!! I actually did play Pong!!!

Its a hobby and a passion that I haven't lost in all these years. I love it just as much now as I did when I first became interested so many years ago.

My favourite genre would have to be RPGs. I love them. Sadly, there aren't nearly enough of them I don't think. I prefer games that go for hours and hours that have a storyline, rather than trying to match the sort of games guys play. Not into racing or blood & guts stuff, some action games are great, strategy games are good too.

Anyhow, I'm really glad to see girl gamers are finally being taken notice of. I'd be really happy to see some older gamers as well. I'm a living testament to the fact that gaming can be for all ages and both sexes. Nothing gives me more enjoyment than sitting down with a new game that's going to keep me amused and entertained for ages.
