Best PS1 Games Ever

With the new PS emulation on the PSP, I'm trying to find out what the best PS games. There are so many games to choose from and I don't know which to try first.

Which games do you class as the best ever? What games would you recommend?

Personally I love Medal of Honor, Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and Grand Theft Auto (so many to choose from though :eek.

Ummmm, i cant remember what else i used to play lol. I gotta get me some more PS1 games for my PSP though me thinks

GTA London...never played it, wanted to though .

Got to add Tony Hawk's Skateboarding, all of them - love those games and Resident Evil 2 - total classic, scary though .

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete
Xenogears
Star Ocean: The Second Story
FF VII
Diablo
Riven

I still love them, but I haven't played them in awhile. So many games, so little time.....LOL!

Yay, I loved Crash Bandicoot and Spyro and Cool Boarders. CB was sooo addictive!
My favourite games for the PSX would be ... *thinks*

a) FFVIII
b) Vagrant Story
c) Music
d) Tomb Raider I
8) Soul Blade

There's heaps more to choose from, but those would be my most played selection.

I liked Devil May Cry and the Tomb Raider games. Final Fantasy was good too and I also liked Abes Oddessy and Gran Turismo

Well personally, seeing as I was converted to game fanatic by the good ole ps1; naturally i have retro choices LOL
1) Final fantasy VIII - my fave ff
2) Resident evil 2
3) Dino crisis
4) syphon filter
5) Crash Bandicoot (sp? it's been so long) 2

oh yeah, and this croc game, i got it with my ps1 and it was really addictive as a lil kid ;D

I also forgot about Breath of Fire. It was a great RPG game. Can't seem to find it anymore..........
