Excellent game, keeps you coming back for more and more. An engrossing introduction with an excellent controllable 3rd person view.

This game has you engrossed right from the beginning, I wasn't expecting such a great intro and game play, although a 3rd person shooter, its not so clunky to play as Dark Sector and easier to control the character in the 3rd person view. Absolutely stunning graphics, great monsters, amazing sound effects. These sound effects are loud, and this game is a gore-fest sci-fi shooter with interesting twists and a great plot. The weapons are great fun, and the combat system of dismemberment of alien monsters is innovative to say the least. Stunning graphically, jolting cut scenes that keep you wanting more and more and that is exactly what you get.

This game is incredible gore matter. I never heard of Dead Space before, this was an impulse buy, and what an impulse I am glad I had. The game itself is very gripping, plenty of things to do besides blast your way to oblivion all the time ala Doom et al. Without spoiling the plot too much, you play the part of space soldier Isaac on a mission to repair a deep space mining colony. What is waiting for you there is quite a surprise and much a treat for sci-fi shooter fans, you can run around areas dismembering alien monsters before there eat you alive, upgrade your weapons at various points in game. It’s not a hard plot to follow which is the appeal of it. A must for 360/PS3 sci-fi shooter fans out there.

My boyfriend is loving this at the moment. We wait until dark to play it...makes the atmosphere so intense!!! lol.

yup. and glad your enjoying the game too. I am sat on Fallout 3 here, will reviewing that over the w/e but need to get some gameplay in first...cheers
