Calling all Girl Gamers living in the London area.

Hi all,

Have found an interesting gaming event for female gamers. To kick start the annual 'London Games Fringe', a week long gaming event, the London Metropolitan University is hosting a day exclusively aimed at girl gamers. The day will consist of playing five different games; Wii Tennis, Tekken, Unreal Tournament, Kuri Kuri Mix and Mario Kart.

Five winners will be crowned at the end of the tournament, but there will only be ONE overall champion.

This is the first girl gaming tournament in London, as part of the event I mentioned above. This is a free event and family and friends are more than welcome to come with you.

None of those games interest me and I live in the North West so I doubt i'll be making my way down there!

Yeah, bit of a bummer it's in London...however the games just don't appeal to me at all, so even if it was around my neck of the woods, I would probably only stop by just out of interest.

All appeal to me except Kuri Kuri Mix, mainly cuz I have no idea what it is.

I'm in the North East. But I want to go lol. £11.50 to London I believe . However I'd probably have to stop overnight which is when it gets expensive .
