Default "Mature" Rated Games Account for Only 6% of Games in 2007

In 2007, it seems those games intended only for people aged 17 and up accounted for only 6% of the 1,563 games rated by the board. That means around 94 games came out last year with an “M” rating, if I’m doing my math right. That’s actually down from 8% in 2006 and 12% in 2005. On the flipside, games with an “E for Everyone” rating made up 59% of the total number of games. I think we can all figure out what this means: all the “E” rated games are directly responsible for the corruption of society’s youth. Mario’s to blame, people.
