The latest custom firmware version is: 4.01 M33-2

Requirements
  • Phat/Slim PSP
  • 3.52 M33 (Phat)[Step 2]/3.60 M33 (Slim)[Step 3] or higher.

If you meet the requirements, go to step 4.

[Step 2]

Requirements
  • Phat PSP
  • Version 1.50 or any CFW below 3.51 M33 (If you haven't got 1.50 find out how to downgrade here)
  • 3.52 M33 Files; Download: 3.52 M33
  • 3.52 Update file; Download: 3.52
  • 1.50 Update File; Download: 1.50
  • Revision 4; Download: 3.52 M33-4

Installation
  • First Download the 3.52 M33 files.
  • On 1.50, you must kxploit-patch your firmware. To do this, extract the contents of the '150 only' folder to /PSP/GAME. Execute the 'Kxploit Permanent Patcher' from the XMB. When you patch your system, the M33CREATOR will appear, and be able to launch.
  • Move the 'M33CREATOR' folder to /PSP/GAME.
  • Download the 3.52, and 1.50 updates. When done, extract and rename them to '352.PBP', and '150.PBP' respectively.
  • Then move the two files to /PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR. From there, launch the M33CREATOR from the XMB. When it launches, it will compile the firmware for you.
  • When it is done, you will be booted into the XMB. Go back to GAME>MemoryStick. You will see a new app called '35XM33UPDATE'. Launch that and follow the on screen instructions.
  • When done, press X to shutdown your PSP, and reboot normally.
  • To install the 3.52 M33-4 revision, download the files and move the update folder to /PSP/GAME150. From there, just launch from the XMB, and update.

  • If successful, plug both MS and JigKick Battery in the Slim and press X
