It seems every other child in America got a Wii or some other game console for Christmas. But Kevin Smith, ever the rebel, didn’t just get a Wii; he got his very own custom Clerks-inspired gaming machine. A modder named Ramon Stokes was commissioned to create this fanboy dream device for the famous movie director and his family. One side features the main characters of his seminal first film, Clerks, in animated form, while the other side is emblazoned with the logo for his production company, View Askew. It even came with two black Wii-motes and Nunchuks reading “Kevin Smith” and “Silent Bob” (his on-screen alter ego). According to Stokes, the family was very happy to receive their Wii. Sadly, I’m almost positive an incident involving a flying Wii-mote will more likely bring a swift end to this wonderful creation.
