Little Big Planet is the first game of its kind, and is going to change the face of video gaming forever. Little Big Planet examines the very way that games are played and designed, and also examines the role that we play as the player. It allows for the player to take control of his own environment, his own game, and his own surroundings. As you play as the Sackpeople (who are charming, by the way), you will grow to love the dialogue and interactions used by the characters.
Yes it is true my friends, a very strange thing is happening indeed. Capcom have recently announced that Monster Hunter 3 will be due for release on the Wii! According to Kotaku, the game is 30% through current completion and here is the title advert from Famitsu for you too drool over:

4. Grand Theft Auto IV
Grand Theft Auto IV was the largest step forward the series has ever seen. With a barrage of new weapons, a humongous amount of new vehicles, and a physics engine that allowed police and pedestrians to act much more life like than previous GTA titles, Grand Theft Auto IV is a premier title available for the Xbox 360 and the first GTA game to be released for the Microsoft console. The city is a great representation of New York, and the storyline, while slightly repetitive at times, leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout the entirety of the campaign.
3. Mass Effect
While Mass Effect was not a perfect game, video game wise, it certainly had a story line leaps and bounds above most other video games available today. The storyline of the campaign alone is Hollywood worthy, and the ability the developers had to tip toe genre’s made Mass Effect one of the greatest games ever released for the Xbox 360.
2. Gears of War
Gears of War was the 360’s first game that was so visually stunning mouths dropped when they played it. Not only was the visually leaps and bounds above previous games, the gameplay was great as well. The ability to duck behind virtually any object in the game made combat interesting and unique from other games. That coupled with a storyline to kill made Gears of War the second greatest XBox 360 game ever released.
1. Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty was really the first game of its caliber. What a great choice the developers made when they decided to move away from world war 2 to explore modern combat. The guns are true to life, and each gun is great in different situations. The graphics are stunning and very lifelike. While playing CoD4 you may have to keep reminding yourself that it is in fact a video game. The online play is top of the line and offered players with competition online that they may not be able to find in their immediate friend group. These factors combined with a great storyline made Call of Duty 4 the number 1 pick for the greatest Xbox 360 game ever released.
So, now is the time to throw rotten tomatoes at me. Are those games really the top 5? I’m slightly convinced. They are certainly 5 superb games. What do you think?
The highly anticipated ‘Rock Band 2′ will hits Xbox360’s on November 21st 2008. Harmonix have announced that it is to start shipping the game in Europe on 14th November. The cost of the ‘Rock Band 2′ software will be £49.99, but standalone hardware will be available at the beginning of December.

Valve are offering a fantastic AMD gaming PC and 25 copies of Left 4 Dead in their latest L4D contest.
As part of the marketing campaign for their new PC and Xbox 360 game, Valve have set up a Left 4 Dead Zombie Photo Contest - the “Dude, Where’s My Thumb” contest! To enter, contestants must “take a creative photograph of themselves in front of one of the outdoor media placements in London, New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area”. Over the weekend pre-orders for the 4GB Sony PSP 3000 pack were cancelled.
John Koller, director of hardware marketing has said that due to a significant interest in the Ratchet & Clank Size Matters PSP 3000 pack, SCEA will continue with that line. The Ratchet & Clank PSP is currently available in Mystic Silver and will be available in Piano Black in December.
Because of this, the PSP 3000 4GB pack is no longer being offered. Koller added that those looking for a larger memory stick, will be able to pick up a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for $44.99 from fall. Hasn’t anyone told him 8GB

Fable 2 knocks ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2009′ into fourth place at the end of last week with the help of ‘Far Cry 2′, which came in at number two. ‘Dead Space’ modestly entered the charts at number six, and it probably won’t be surprising to see this creep further upwards in the future. ‘Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway’ now sits at number twenty after falling ten places in just one week. Playstation is steadily adding more content to their games with this update. With this latest release, lots of new content was released for many different games including Soul Calibur IV, Mega Man 9, and Guitar Hero World Tour. Most of the newest additions will cost you $0.99, but there are some free downloads available for the different games. There is also a 10 song, 1 pack update for Rock Band from Mötley Crüe and Nirvana. With this update there are also several full game downloads available for purchase, including the classic Prince of Persia.
While this may not be new news, it’s news to me and great news at that.
Sony’s smash hit series Tekken, is due to release their next game, Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion in Fall 2009. Originally it was to stay a Sony exclusive and be released on the PS3. This was sure to be a great way to increase PS3 sales. Many Tekken fans and 360 only owners, would have bought a PS3 for this game, myself included.
For 360 owners, thankfully, that’s not the case but there’s sure to be many Sony fans who are unimpressed with this decision. How many other Sony exclusives will move to the 360?

I have always said to myself, and others, that nothing would beat it, that it is a unique game that would be on our console systems for years to come. I was right about one thing – it has been on our console systems for years and has just sold over 10 million copies of GTA IV worldwide. But now I am asking myself – is it still the best, or has something better come along to challenge it?

Release 3.71 Fatmsmod patch for 5.00

just a little update to the fatmsmod patch, it stopped working in 5.00 due to a sony file changing its name.
What does Fatmsmod do?
Dark_Alex explains: fatmsmod is the fat file system memory stick driver of Sony. Since 3.80, its speed decreased a lot, mainly noticeable in isos, that’s why in that time I released a program to flash the 3.71 driver in 3.80 (and resolve some incompatibilities). This is same, but updated for 5.00.
Instructions:
Copy the file fatmsmod.prx in the root of memory stick.
Copy FATMS371 to /PSP/GAME or /PSP/GAME5XX. Run the program and done.
